Tony Agland Memorial on RKA Schedule

It looks like a big year ahead for Retro Karting Australia. The 2021 RKA Championship will be contested over five rounds across four states/territories.

Sponsored again by DPE, the series offers high-revving F100s at Light and Heavy weights, plus a range of weight divisions for the Yamaha-powered Clubman classes.

The third round at Dubbo in July will be the inaugural Tony Agland Memorial.

“We are proud to be honoring Tony Agland in 2021 with the Tony Agland Memorial in Dubbo next year & expect this to be a hotly contested round” RKA’s Leigh Williamson informed KartSportNews.

“(Son) Nick will be coming out with all guns blazing wanting to win.”

Agland, a long time motorsport and karting identity, passed away in August – see HERE.

The RKA series kicks off in Canberra in March.
