It was not a great weekend for the Aussies at the WSK Open Cup round 1 at Lonato on October 24-27.
Marcos Flack (Energy) and James Wharton (Parolin) contested OK-Junior, qualifying 23rd and 30th respectively.

After the heat racing they were ranked 55th (Flack) and 30th (Wharton), but neither progressed past their pre-final.
Flack put in a great recovery drive but missed the cut by an agonising two positions. Wharton suffered a double-whammy; a 10 second jumped start penalty followed by “disqualification for bad manoeuvre “. Oops!
