Round 4 at North Shore – A Mother of a Race Day!

In an exciting finish, TaG 125 Restricted Light driver Joseph Licciardello (#67) battled hard all day with Salvatore Scarpignato (#19) followed in 3rd by Cris Mayas (#17). Scarpignato ended up the victor crossing the line .016 of a second ahead of Licciardello (pic – Pamspix)

Some chose to celebrate Mothers Day at home with mum. But others had mum at the race track! Despite the clash with this special day, North Shore Kart Club enjoyed a successful round of the club’s championship on May 14. Here’s the report, pics and results.

Karting instructor Jay Howard has qualified for this weekend’s Indianapolis 500. That’s a bit like Troy Hunt or Dave Sera qualifying for the Bathurst 1000. Howard runs driver development and karting programs at NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans.
