  • The Adelaide Superkart Club runs regular 'Come and Try' test drive sessions at the conclusion of most race meetings. The next one is after tomorrow's (26 Oct) Australian Superkart Grand Prix at Mallala. Enquiries 0403 024 385.

  • We hear the Victorian Karting Association has requested that when member clubs receive information from the VKA, they are to refrain from publishing it on their websites unless the VKA has given them permission to do so...

  • NASCAR is to open an indoor kart race centre for electric karts. The "I-DRIVE NASCAR" facility is set to open in Orlando in December. It wil feature a half-mile indoor track with electric powered Sodikarts capable of 45 miles per hour. More on motorsport.com HERE.

  • AiM Sports LLC has uploaded part 2 of their video "I Have Downloaded My Data, Now What" to YouTube. Part 1 was uploaded last month and can be found HERE.   • Victorian KZ2 racer Jordie Ford has confirmed he'll be racing at the SKUSA SuperNationals in Las Vegas next month. Ford will compete aboard VemmeKart with support from Vemme, Peter Ford Catering and Brabus Sharp Performance. "I wouldn't be able to make it there without the amazing support they are providing me in what will be my dream come true; to race internationally on a world class stage" he wrote on Facebook. "Many people have supported me my whole career and I hope to make you all proud!!!"

  • The World Karting Association's new Rookie Comer class will utilise an 0.650 inch intake restrictor. It will be stamped with the IKF/WKA logo and will be the only restrictor legal for the class. The category is designed for younger drivers between the ages of seven and ten.
