Last night (Thursday in Italy) was Qualifying for the 105 entrants in the Mini Rok class.  Lochie qualified 9th and due to the number of entrants will start each of his Heats from P3.

After winning the Florida Winter Tour USA Rok Cup championship series earlier this year Lochie is fired up and ready to race.

He and his mechanic, IPKarting Australia’s Ken Bensley, have already had to overcome some engine dramas earlier this week, but a solid week of preparation at the South Garda Track has them quietly confident going into the races which commence tonight (Friday Italy).

Live timing of the event is available on http://www.apex-timing.com/live-timing/southgardakarting/index.html

Good luck Lochie!
