Kip & Oscar Arrive At Le Mans

  15 October 2014

The two Australians competing in the IAME International Final at Le Mans this weekend, Western Australia's Kip Foster and Victoria's Oscar Piastri, have both arrived at the circuit.

"Today, my dad Chris and I met the team from Kosmic Ideal Karting and installed the seat and adjusted pedals and other things to suit" Oscar wrote.

"I also met my mechanic Alex who was very friendly and has a lot of knowledge and experience to share. I discovered he was Jenson Button's mechanic in karting which is amazing and he also worked with Joey Mawson last year.

"We walked the track a few times discussing racing lines for the dry and wet and also some important techniques for the long fast corners and how to make the kart work with the much taller gearing than we would run back home."

Rain is forecast for tomorrow's opening day of practice.
