• The race meeting scheduled for tomorrow at Toowoomba (August 17) has been cancelled due to the forecast heavy rains. The South East Queensland J-Max Series round that formed part of the meeting will be re-scheduled, possibly to Sunday 19th October (to be advised).

• Some stuff we've read in social circles (but not been received by KartSportNews in any official capacity):
  
  
  • Brad Collins has tendered his resignation as a Director of AKA Ltd. Increasing work demands (he's the Operations Manager at Ford Performance Racing) led to the decision. The Board has been seeking a suitably qualified person to fill the vacancy.
    
    
  • The Karting NSW Board has appointed Ian Ian Black to the position of Director of Industry Services as a casual vacancy. The position will be ratified by the SKC at the AGM on September 20.
    
    
• AIDKA Nationals entry update: latest listing of entries (as at 13 August) can be found HERE. Entry for the October 3-5 event at Loxton (SA) will close 27 August. Link to Supp Regs on the Race Calendar page.
