Dicker Starts Season With 2nd In Hann Memorial

press release 27 July 2014

As the SKAA Karting season finished, Zero3 Motorsports got their new season underway recently with a second place result for driver Ricky Dicker in the Alan Hann Memorial for AKA Speedway Karts as he focuses on new challenges including podiums at the Hann Memorial, Allstar 50 lapper and AKA Australian title.

The AKA run mostly whilst the SKAA are on hiatus so to continue putting more laps into experience along with development into his Karts in between the SKAA seasons break, Dicker chose to compete at the recent Hann Memorial and came away from the event meeting his own expectations of a top three result.

Racing with the SKAA drivers, Dicker attributes the skills he has learnt to competitors Graham Keats & Rod Sievwright and others. Dicker was instantly right in amongst the front runners at the Hann Memorial finishing with a first & two second place results in heats before motoring on to a second place in the Memorial final.

With one AKA meeting out of the way Dicker will continue the remainder of their season in the Modified class and the Formula 100's before rejoining SKAA in their Modified class and his favourite Kart division the Outlaws when they restart.

Dicker will compete at Gosford, Nepean & Kurri Kurri in his AKA season further enhancing his experience on a variety of tracks. Next up for Zero3 Motorsports will be the Allstar 50 lapper on August the second before the AKA nationals on the 13th & 14th of September.
