DPE Kart Technology Impresses At Victorian Open

press release 14 March 2014

This year’s 2014 Victorian Open Sprint Kart Championships were held at the Oakleigh Go-Kart Racing Club on the 7th, 8th and 9th of March 2014. It is one of the biggest kart races in Australia and one to definitely perform well at.

DPE Kart Technology won 5 of the 14 classes on offer along with podiums finishes in 9 classes.

Classes that we took wins in included –

Clubman Heavy (Deadly Dave Sera in the Deadly), X30 Heavy (Brendan Nelson in Arrow Vegas), Rotax Heavy (Brendan Nelson in Arrow Vegas), Clubman Over 40s (Remo in Monaco 31c) and Junior National Heavy (Cody Donald in Arrow 28N).

Although our whole Kart range performed yet again outstanding there was one model that had the pits talking - the Vegas chassis had entered 3 classes, winning 2 of them.

Brendon Nelson has run the Vegas model now at 3 different events not losing one of them!

“The new chassis is just fantastic, so easy to set up and extremely easy to drive” Brendan said.

We have a number of 30/30 Vegas spec chassis on order for the AKA Nationals in April so if you’re thinking about ordering one you better get in quick. Remember, the Vegas model comes in Arrow, Monaco or Deadly!
