Wheels were turning and the track was burning as 81 drivers from across the state descended on the Whitsunday Raceway to compete in the Great Barrier Reef Titles over the weekend 27-28th July.
Saturday commenced with qualifying, two heats, prefinal and finals being run on Sunday. The two day event served as the perfect warm-up for the Qld Closed State Titles in September. The competition was fierce in across the ten classes.
The Cadet class final kept spectators on their feet as the top five swapped places lap after lap and anyone could have won that battle.
