While entry numbers were down on previous years, the quality sure wasn't with top drivers across all classes and a very strong interstate contingent. In fact, there were multiple entries from every state in the nation, including the Northern Territory.

Not all classes that were on offer formed a field. This was a blessing is disguise as it freed up the schedule and freed up the pit area, allowing competitors to work out of their trailers.

Above: The Clubman Heavy final was a cracker, Jordan Sanderson (95), Kip Foster (20) and David Sera (1) all having a go in the lead. Sera started pole but dropped to 4th in the opening lap as Foster and Sanderson established a small gap. Sera bridged the deficit but couldnt hold the lead. Sanderson led into the final lap, but it was Foster who was able to grab the win. Nick Rowe wasn't far behind in a solid run to 4th.

He ran 2nds and 3rds all meeting, until the final where he DNFd after contact while running 3rd. "We made a couple of changes for the final to see how it would react and probably lost a little bit of pace, but we know where it's at now" he informed KartSportNews.
