Five current NSW Title holders will be back to try and defend their title this weekend. However the field is wide open and anyone of these seventy six drivers could take the coveted blue plates. Locals such as John Gillespie (Juniors), Jade Pollock (Clubman Light), Peter Archer (Over 40’s), Ben Morgan (Clubman Heavy) and Sean Morley (Rookies) will be tough to beat, while Sydney siders John Watton (KT Heavy), Daniel Sayre (Juniors), Jordan Binskin (Clubman Light), Luke Geering (Rookies) and James Melling (KT Light) will give them a run for their money.

Coming to spoil the party though are three of Australia’s best karters on the tar. Michael Saller, Jaie Robson and Hayden Sutherland have travelled the country and the world competing up against some of the best young stars in the world of motorsport. This weekend they switch the dry slick tires for some grooved dirt ones. All are excited about the prospect of racing on the dirt, however Michael Saller is no stranger when it comes to the dirt. Michael is the current Australian and NSW Champion in Clubman Heavy. He is hoping to keep his success rate going this weekend.

The format for the weekend will see three heats rounds of heats on Saturday before pre-finals and finals kick off on Sunday. So make sure you there both days at Gosford Showground on Showground Road, Gosford. Racing starts at 9:30am both days.

Entry is free and all canteen facilities will be open. One question remains, who will be crowned NSW Champions for 2013? It’s time to find out!
