Kiwi Rotax Stars Take Rivalry Across The Tasman

Kiwi Rotax Max category stars Daniel Kinsman and Daniel Connor take their intense and long-standing rivalry to the other side of the Tasman Sea this weekend at the fourth round of this season's Australian Rotax Max Pro Tour.
The pair, Kinsman from Auckland, Connor from Helensville, have been trading places on the various Rotax Max Light class podiums around New Zealand for the past three years, Connor beating Kinsman to the New Zealand title in 2011, and Kinsman returning the favour - with Connor second - this year.

It's Connor who has the advantage this weekend courtesy of contesting the three previous rounds of the 2012/13 Pro Tour series.
He's been doing alright too, finishing fifth at the first round in Canberra back in October last year then second at the second in Melbourne in January and running as high as fifth in the Final at the third round at Lithgow in March before being punted off the track and ending up 15th.
After this weekend's Pro Tour round in Australia the two Kiwi drivers will return home to prepare for the third round of the YOGG-sponsored Rotax Max Challenge of New Zealand at Te Puke over the April 20-21 weekend.
