today's items concerning karting...

  • AKA karters can win one of 20 spots in a Erebus Motorsport track walk and Q&A session this Friday. To be held at the Symmons Plains Raceway in Tasmania, the private track walk & Q&A session is with former karter and now F3 racer Jack Le Brocq. There will also be a short Q&A with Team Owner Betty Klimenko, plus a tour of the F3 and V8 garages. The offer is only open to AKA karters, and you'll need to take your current AKA licence as evidence to participate. Entry is via the Erebus Academy facebook page HERE. Winners will be notified by private message and entry closes TOMORROW (Thursday April 4) at 5pm AEDT.

  • The minutes from the AKA's recent Annual General Meeting, plus the February NKC meeting, are now on the AKA website. AGM Minutes HERE, NKC minutes HERE.

  • Videos of the finals and other races at the Rotax Euro Challenge round in Genk on the weekend have been uploaded to Youtube. The Senior MAX final is below. Pierce Lehane started 5th but contact on the approach to the first corner saw him and several others run wide and across the circuit - which ultimately earned him a DQ for cutting the track. It was a tough meeting for the Aussies! More clips from the meeting HERE.
