Saller Sights More Success Across The Tasman

press release 25 March 2013

After recent success in both the Rotax Pro Tour and Victorian Open State Karting Championships, Michael
Saller will make a trip back to New Zealand this week ahead of their annual National Championships,
returning following his success in the opening round of their respective Rotax Max Challenge.

Racing in the Rotax Heavy category will be no easy task with the country’s best drivers out to challenge for
elusive title that the winner will hold for the next twelve months. Saller admits however, taking part in such
an event is a very exciting prospect.

“I’m really looking forward to heading back to New Zealand again, last time was a real blast and I’m hoping
to go one better.

“Rotax Heavy is going to be a real tough field with New Zealand’s best on show at this event, it’s going to be
a real test and I’m really hoping to mix it with them. I’ve come off some great results of late, and it will be
perfect momentum leading into a high calibre event,” said Saller.

In comparison to many events that Michael takes part in over numerous days, the New Zealand Nationals
will include a ‘rest day’ format, something that Saller is looking to make the most of.

“Practice starts on Thursday with Friday and Saturday off and my category on track for qualifying and racing
on Sunday which will give a very relaxed vibe and hopefully translate into a positive weekend.

“I couldn’t be making the trip across the Tasman without the support of my parents, Troy Farley Race
Engines, MSP Shopfittings, Karting World and Brad Tyrell from Pacific Kartsport New Zealand,” Saller
concluded.

The Go-Pro New Zealand Nationals has received 177 entries across ten categories. The event will take
place at Kartsport Wellington Wynn’s Raceway from Thursday 28th March – Sunday 31st March with Michael
on track on Thursday and Sunday.
