NSW Speedway Season About To Commence

This Sunday the 17th February will see the New South Wales Speedway Kart Club kick start their 23rd season of speedway Karting with Round 1, and the “The Champion Of Champions “ race.
The club and its members have done all their preparation during the off season to make this season an exciting and special one.
Sunday will see 80 karters over 6 classes compete in 3 heats and a final in a hope their championship tallies get off to a great start, which should provide some awesome speedway action.
Club President Keryn Evans stated “We are very excited about this year with a return to Goulburn Speedway for 2 rounds in May and August and again we will be teaming up with the CCSKC for the Inter Club Challenge and of course we are looking forward to running the Australian Titles in September. All in all it will be a great year ".
So if you are a speedway fan and enjoy good quality racing, you need to come out to Castlereagh and watch the speedway stars of tomorrow learn their craft as they contest Round 1 of their 2013 championships.
"The Champion Of Champions " race meeting is being held at the Nepean Motorsport Complex on Rickards Road, Castlereagh, with racing commencing at 10am.
Entry to the venue is $5 per adult to see 24 events and afterwards spectators are encouraged to stay and join in the celebrations of the day’s results. The Club has a full canteen to assist you with all the food and drinks you require as you spend a lazy Sunday on the grass hill watching fantastic speedway action.
