Turbulent weather threw a spanner in the works for round three of the Golden Power Series, which once again witnessed some fantastic racing and over-subscribed classes. Ayrton Creagh reports from Numurkah.
Regardless of wet and cold conditions on Saturday that gave way to fine and fast racing on Sunday, the favourites confirmed their class in the final round of Kartsport New Zealand’s premier Kartstars competition in Rotorua.
Max Walton made a fantastic debut in the Karting Academy Trophy in the Czech Republic on the weekend, leading the final before finishing third. However, he was not the only driver flying the Aussie flag in Trinec (includes video).
With fastest off the back and the Lights a pre-calculated time behind the Heavies, the 50-Lapper Classic for Juniors at Lithgow was a challenging race, especially when the rain stated falling half way through!
