As of January 1st, only people who are 18 years old and over and have a Karting Australia licence can enter themselves in race meetings.
This means that Cadet, Junior and Senior drivers under 18 must have a licenced adult do the entry (or licence upgrade) for them.
For non-competing adults, this can be done by way of a Participants Licence (see HERE) which must be linked to the underage competitor.
Karting Australia today published the guide below showing how that's done.
(Anyone remember when you could just turn up on race day, show your licence, pay your money and go race?)
