Aussies Overseas

A bunch of Australians are racing overseas this weekend in Bahrain (World Championship OK/OKJ) and the USA (SuperNationals, Las Vegas).

World Championship

Oscar Piastri and Jack Doohan both qualified inside the OK-Junior top 30, Piastri 21st and Doohan 26th.

The duo has recorded some top results in the heat racing, Piastri actually winning his final heat (heat results 4-5-4-4-1). Doohan had a best result of second, but also had a couple of bad ones (heat results 22-3-2-29-24).

After the heats, Oscar is equal second on points, but ranked 4th overall due to countback based on qualifying. He starts his pre-final off P2. Jack is ranked 43rd and will start his pre-final 22nd.

Spanish Tony Kart driver David Vidales qualified fastest and remains at the top of the ranking after the heat races.

Italian Lorenzo Travisanutto (also Tony Kart/Vortex) was fastest in OK qualifying but has dropped to third after the heats. Karol Basz sits on top ahead of Paavo Tonteri.

SuperNationals

Meanwhile in Las Vegas, Josh Car and Kip Foster both qualified second in class. Unofficial quallie results are below (via KA).
