DPE Kart Technology has appointed a new General Manager, Bruce Allan joining the Melbourne-based kart distribution and manufacturing company.
DPE's Managing Director, Bart Price, posted the following on social media.

Hi Karters,
Concluding an extremely thorough recruitment process, it is with great pleasure & personal relief that I can inform you that DPE Kart Technology has recruited our newest team member & General Manager, Bruce Allan.
Bruce comes with a wealth of experience in business, from manufacturing, sales, marketing & purchasing through to finance, strategic planning & business development. Bruce is also involved in karting at a club & state level through his son Hamish, which will give him a great head start in understanding the industry of which his new role relates to.
Approximately 6 months ago it became apparent to me that my availability, service & response time to our customers has not been acceptable. Additionally, I have had limited time to work on new initiatives to improve & grow our business. This is a result of me remaining heavily involved in the day to day operations & tasks of the business. In hiring Bruce, all of these areas will be improved.
Bruce, myself & the entire team at DPE Kart Technology will strive to improve your experience with us from product through to service.
