2017 National Calendar Openers

Karting Australia has announced the dates for the opening round of the 2017 Australian Kart Championship and Rotax Pro Tour.

The five-round Australian Kart Championship will commence with round 1 on February 10-12. KA has not yet confirmed the venue.

The six-round Rotax Pro Tour National Series will kick off in Melbourne at the Todd Rd circuit on January 26-28, ie Thursday, Friday, Saturday. "We will be utilising the Australia Day public holiday to allow competitors and families to travel home on the Sunday" Rotax Australia advised.

• Thursday (26th January) - Practice
• Friday (27th January) - Qualifying and Heat Races
• Saturday (28th January) - Pre-Final and Final

KA say the remaining venues and dates in the respective schedules will be confirmed shortly.
