Driver PR: Tate Frost Monarto Wrap

Tate Frost was able to back up Pucka pole with another front row in qualifying at round 3 of the 2016 Australian Kart Championship.

The young Tasmanian qualified 2nd in the competitive KA4 Junior class at the Monarto karting complex in South Australia on the weekend.

"The more he gets to race at the front the better he will get, and it's very important to qualify well at these events and it seems we can do this, we just need to improve the racing part", said father Anthony.

"The pointy end of the field is very competitive and it's great for Tate to be up there battling with the very best in Australia."

The heats were pretty hectic with finishes of 6th, 7th, 7th and 2nd meant a final starting spot of 6 but a mid race incident shuffled the Launceston Kart Driver back to 16th where he was only able to make up a couple spots to 14th by the finish.

Tate would like thank the James Sera Karting Centre, FA Karts, J&A Engines and Frost Civil Construction for all the support.

The team now heads to Oakleigh this weekend for the Kingston Cup
