Polls are back!
Should clubs running a series keep the point score ‘secret’ during the series, or publish the progressive point score after each round?
There are arguments for and against: some believe that by not publishing progressive points, drivers will continue to support a series (assuming that if a driver knows they are out of contention, they don’t tend to enter the final round/s). Equally, this could be turned the other way in that drivers think they are out of contention when, in fact, they are not.
Some also believe when progressive points are published, there is more on-track drama as drivers race to the points-gap with their rivals, rather than just the circumstances of race day.
