The Bridgestone brand makes a return to KA karting next year, the Japanese rubber the mandated control tyre for Karting Australia's "Group One" categories.
Australian importer, Paul Feeney Group, had examples of the tyres at the Australian Kart Championship round at Geelong on the weekend.
Bridgestone YJL
The YJL will be used in the Cadet 9 and Cadet 12 classes. Unlike previous brands where the same tyre is used on all four conrers of the kart, the YJL has distinct front and rear tyres. This is the rubber used in the Mini ROK class in Europe.

The YLR will be the tyre for Junior National, Senior National, KA Junior and TaG 100 categories.
