Ben Stewart Wins In America

Australia's Ben Stewart has won the GoPro Karting Challenge at the GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina.
The Queenslander qualified fastest and won the final in what is the first of three race meetings he will contest while in the USA.
Racing on a Hoosier tyre for the first time (compound between an MG yellow and a TaG Dunlop tyre), Stewart described the GoPro Motorplex facility as 'amazing.
"There is truly nothing in Australia that comes close to the quality of this track, and the facilities surrounding it" he wrote on social media.
"Racing this meet was a last minute decision by Kartsport North America" he added. "I arrived at 11pm Friday night, and was on track at 8am Saturday morning!
"We used the 1-day event as a warm up for the two major national events coming in the next fortnight, so we couldn't be happier with the result.
"Now I've got a few days testing left at the GoPro Motorplex before we drive up to Indianapolis Wednesday morning!"
