Maranello At The European KZ2 Championship

Maranello Kart made its debut in the European KZ2 2015 Championship with some positive results at the International Circuit Napoli of Sarno. Chassis and drivers' competitiveness has been great in this occasion too, after the good races run at the beginning of the season.
The speed of Maranello Kart's color bearers has been confirmed in the first round of the CIK-FIA European Championship: an international and top class challenge that has been particularly tight with a series of very exciting races.

Four Maranello Kart drivers have been competing in Sarno. Namely, Tommaso Mosca, Enrico Bernardotto, Lorenzo Giannoni and the Spanish driver Gerard Cebrian Ariza have represented the Italian outfit in Sarno and ended qualifying in this order, posting interesting lap times.
The young Tommaso Mosca, who was at the debut in an international race under the guidance of Stefano Griggio, pushed hard and recovered well in the heats from the 23rd time of qualifying easily finding his way to the final stages.

His team mates have been a bit more unlucky and were slowed down by race contacts or small hitches in the heats, as happened to Lorenzo Giannoni, who also was at the debut in the European Championship and to Enrico Bernardotto, on track with KCL Racing with the assistance of Alessandro Levratti. Both drivers had to run the second chance race, as Bernardotto managed to easily get access to the final stages ending in P4. Giannoni had to retire due to a problem to the chain despite managing to install himself in P9 early on, ready to slide in the top 6 to gain access to the final. Cebrian Ariza did not find his way to the final stages as he ended 14th instead.
Mosca ended a very tight Prefinal in P25, while Bernardotto had to retire one lap early. The reaction of the two Maranello Kart's drivers came in the Final though, as Mosca put in a great comeback to P15, while Bernardotto brilliantly found his way through the pack to P18.
Overall this has been a very positive experience that highlighted the quality of Maranello Kart's material in several moments of the event, despite some inconvenience due to race contacts and to little technical hiccups. The next round of the European Championship is scheduled for 24 May in Zuera (Spain).
