Australian Chassis Leads The Way

press release 21 April 2015

After the opening round of the Australian Kart Championship (AKC) presented by Jayco and Castrol EDGE, it is the Arrow chassis that is leading the way in the Karting Australia Manufacturers Championship.

The Australian-made kart sits atop of the standings on 270 points courtesy of a strong performance at the opening round that included victories in the KA Junior and KA1 classes.

“We pride ourselves on being Australia’s leading kart manufacturer and will be doing everything we can to ensure that this shows through success in the Manufacturers Championship in 2015,” said Arrow Karts representative Bart Price.

“To be leading the standings after the opening round is a great reward for the hard work everyone at DPE Kart Technology continually puts into our products.

“While we may be leading the standings at the moment we understand how difficult it is to stay ahead of the pack and throughout the year we’ll be aiming to continually improve our product to maintain that advantage.”

The OTK-produced FA Kart is second in the standings on 223 points followed by the St George Kart Centre-imported CRG brand (152), Ricciardo Kart (139) and PCR (81).

The Karting Australia Manufacturers Championship is based on the top two pointscoring drivers from each of the registered brands in each class at every round of the AKC.

The Go-Kart Club of South Australia will host the next round of the Championship at the Monarto Karting Complex on May 22-24.  This event doubles as the South Australian Championship for all classes being contested in the AKC.

Entries are now open through Karting Australia’s Competitor Management System (CMS).
