F1 veteran Rubens Barrichello will return to the FIA Karting World Championship, contesting the KZ2 Masters Super Cup at Le Mans in two weeks time.

This comes 10 years after he last competed at the World Championship in Sweden, though he has had several tilts at the Rotax Grand Finals since then.

A total of 230 drivers will compete across the KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters categories at FIA Karting’s biggest event for gearbox karts.

Sam Dicker is the only Australian on the entry list, competing in KZ2 on IPK/TM with the Formula K SRP Factory Team.
