Chris Schofield has joined Tyler Greenbury Racing as its Karting Team Manager and Head of Driver Development.
“His experience across driver coaching, racecraft, kart setup, preparation and developing young talent will become a cornerstone of TGR’s future” Greenbury stated.
The hugely experienced Schofield has mentored, trained and developed drivers including Zane Goddard, Broc Feeney, Will Brown, Lochie Dalton, Campbell Logan, Thomas Randle, Jay Hansen and more.
“Chris’s career includes winning the 2006 World Championship with one of his drivers, along with six European National Championships with various drivers. More importantly, his track record in developing talent speaks for itself.”

His appointment is part of the expansion of TGR’s karting program and coincides with the launch of the TGR Junior Development Team.
This new junior team structure will encompass two pathways: a ‘Local’ team (for drivers building strong foundations through club, state and national racing) and an ‘Elite’ team (for selected drivers aiming for top-level national and international competition).
“Our vision is to create a genuine pathway that starts in karting and gives young drivers the coaching, structure and opportunities to progress from local competition to national and international racing, and ultimately into cars.”
