The Winter Cup for F100 at Geelong next month will double as a fund raiser for Motor Neurone Disease.
In addition to competing at the event, retro racer Paul Rodgers has taken it upon himself to raise funds for MND Victoria.
“My father-in-law was diagnosed with MND in January this year and we have been involved in various fundraisers since then, including the Great MND Relay and speed boat team Moonshine Racing” Rodgers told KartSportNews.

Paul is selling F100 Winter Cup event shirts with $20 from each sale going to MND (shirt price is $30).
“Orders for them can be made in advance by contacting me, or we’ll have limited stock on the day. Shirts potentially can be organised to be sent by post as well.

“I will also have a QR code on my tent which will take you directly to my MND Victoria fundraiser page if you wish to make a donation and there will be other MND Victoria items for sale as well.”

ABOUT MND
Motor neurone disease (MND) is a term for a group of neurological disorders that progressively damage the nerve cells or motor neurones, responsible for voluntary muscle movements like walking, speaking, breathing, and swallowing. With MND, these neurons gradually stop working, and the muscles they control weaken and waste away, leading to a decline in movement, mobility and independence. There is currently no cure. About MND Victoria
“Until there’s a cure, there’s care”
MND Victoria is the only not-for-profit organisation in Victoria that provides care and support services to those living with MND. With your support, we can raise vital funds that are essential for providing direct care, support and vital assistive equipment to not only the person living with MND, but also their loved ones who are on the journey too.
Every donation big or small is greatly appreciated.
