Superkarts! USA has revealed the list of categories that will contest the 2026 SKUSA Super Nationals in Las Vegas later this year.
Hot on the heels of announcing Rotax returning to the event comes confirmation that Master Shifter has been dropped.
The 10 classes are:
- Micro Swift
- Mini Swift
- KA100 Junior
- KA100 Senior
- KA100 Master
- X30 Junior
- Pro X30
- Pro Shifter
- Rotax Mini MAX
- Rotax Senior MAX
“It’s no secret that the Rotax Grand Finals and the SuperNationals fall on the same weekend this year,” said Superkarts! USA CEO Tom Kutscher.
“That left a lot of racers with a difficult decision to make. In the interest of doing what is best for the sport, we wanted to provide an opportunity for Rotax competitors who will not be traveling to Portimão.”

Regarding the dropping of Master Shifter, “that was not an easy class to remove” Kutscher added.
“We have a lot of respect for the racers who have supported Master Shifter, but the participation numbers have continued to fall. With limited track time and other classes growing, we had to use that schedule position where it would accommodate more competitors.”
The 29th running of the SKUSA SuperNationals takes place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on November 11 to 15.
