Represent Australia on the international stage! Karting Australia is inviting eligible drivers to take on the region’s best in the FIA Karting Arrive & Drive Asia-Pacific Championship in Macau on September 11-13.

The event offers Junior and Senior categories competing with identical control chassis (Kosmic Mercury), engines (Vortex) and tyres (Vega), putting the focus firmly on the driver.

There are 56 places available in each category, allocated in the order entries are received. The first closing date for entries is Wednesday, July 29.

“The event also provides a pathway to qualify for the FIA Karting Arrive & Drive World Cup” a KA PR piece stated. This takes place at Malaysia’s LYL International Karting Circuit from November 19 to 22.

KA notes that competitors must be eligible to obtain, or currently hold, an FIA International Licence.

The entry fee to the Asia-Pacific Championship is 3,950 Euro (about $6,500 AUD) plus an equipment deposit of 1,500 Euro ($2,450 AUD, refunded when chassis/engine is returned undamaged).
