Big Brands Bought

A number of major karting brands have been acquired by a new Italian organisation that boats it’s an “integrated motorsport ecosystem” that is “capable of designing and manufacturing inhouse… every element that contributes to a racing vehicle, and supporting its life on track.”

The newly formed Korus Group now has eight big racing brands under its control, including majority shareholdings for BirelART, IAME and Kart Republic.

“Thanks to major investments in the karting sector, we are now creating the only organization in the world capable of building a bridge between karting and open- and closed-wheel racing” said Korus Group CEO, Giovanni Delfino.

Korus Group is Born

The Group brings together eight leading Italian companies in an integrated motorsport ecosystem: the
first capable of bridging the worlds of karting and racing cars.

Korus Group officially took shape on October 27, 2025, as the Italian platform representing motorsport
excellence at 360 degrees worldwide. Korus, whose majority shares are held by the “TEC Racing”
vehicle promoted within the “The Equity Club” initiative, is built on the solid foundations of Tatuus
Racing, ATM – Autotecnica Motori, and Breda Racing, which began joining forces in 2017–2018. They
were later joined by YCOM in 2024, while in 2025 majority acquisitions of BirelArt, Next Solution
Technologies, IAME, and Kart Republic were completed.

Korus Group thus emerges as a true motorsport ecosystem — the only one in the world capable of
bringing together under one roof iconic manufacturing brands from both karting and open – and
closed – wheel racing, creating a high-value bridge across the worlds of motorsport and engineering. It
represents a comprehensive hub for 360-degree racing, capable of designing and manufacturing inhouse — thanks to the work of more than 360 employees — every element that contributes to a racing
vehicle, and supporting its life on track. A Group that, much like a chorus, operates in synergy to
achieve one harmonious result.

A defining trait of the Group is its Italian DNA, a distinctive hallmark shared by all companies united
under the Korus brand. Together, they bring elite positioning in the global motorsport landscape,
combining strong tradition and heritage with a natural drive for innovation. The result is a balance that
consistently gives rise to projects and products which, after taking shape in the Italian headquarters of
the Group’s companies, take to racetracks around the world.

An ecosystem capable of creating every type of vehicle — and every component that makes it — with a
focus on racing but an open eye toward natural connections with the automotive and mobility
industries. A true “one-stop shop” for any high-performance project seeking excellence, engineering,
speed of execution, and collective manufacturing capability to turn vision into success.

The entrepreneurs and managers who led each company to success now converge at the head of the
Group as minority shareholders, combining vision and experience while giving tangible proof of the
commitment made by some of Italy’s most prominent business families. The Group also benefits
from a cross-functional management structure, coordinating key strategic areas — from engineering
to finance, business development, and communications — to foster operational synergy and shared
growth among the companies within the holding.

“We are living a historic moment for our companies and for Italian motorsport”, said Giovanni Delfino,
CEO of Korus Group. “What began in 2017 with Tatuus and ATM reaches today a new stage of growth
and recognition thanks to the arrival of companies that not only embody the spirit with which this holding
was created, but are also established leaders in both racing and karting. Thanks to major investments in
the karting sector, we are now creating the only organization in the world capable of building a bridge
between karting and open- and closed-wheel racing — a strong and revolutionary connection, grounded
in the solid foundations of our Group’s shared projects, engineering excellence, and the talents that drive
them every day.”

“When TEC Racing acquired the majority stake in May 2023, it did so with a clear vision”, added
Roberto Ferraresi, CEO of The Equity Club. “A vision built on the awareness that motorsport was
entering a phase of major expansion, and that bringing together niche yet elite Italian companies could
create a truly world-leading group. Thanks to a structure rich in expertise, and the mutual trust shared
among the many managers and entrepreneurs who have chosen to join the Korus project, that vision has
today become a well-defined reality — one built on growth, ambition, and a deep passion for
motorsport.”

“Motorsport has always been synonymous with projects born through collective effort.” said Gianfranco
De Bellis, President of Korus Group. “Korus embodies the true essence of motorsport — the ability to
deliver complete projects through deep engineering and innovation expertise, combined with the unique
capacity to support drivers through every stage of their growth. Each company within the Group is
committed to excellence through teamwork, passion, and meticulous attention to detail in every
decision.”

The Group’s Composition

Tatuus: Founded in 1980, Tatuus is a world leader in the design and production of single-seater race
cars for Formula 4, Formula Regional, and similar competitive categories that shape the careers of most
drivers worldwide — including 19 of the 20 current Formula 1 drivers.

Since January 2023, Tatuus headquarters have been located in Lainate, on the border with Arese — a
historic location in Italian motorsport. The over 4,000-square-meter facility was purpose-built to meet
the company’s needs and stands on the former grounds of Alfa Romeo’s historic site.

ATM – Autotecnica Motori: Founded in 1977, ATM is a leading company in the design and production
of racing engines for Formula 4, Formula Regional, GT, touring cars, and hypercars. It is one of the elite
engine manufacturers capable of handling the entire process — from concept to complete power unit —
including design, development, manufacturing, and testing. Located in Casalmaggiore (CR), at the edge
of Italy’s Motor Valley, ATM’s headquarters completed a major expansion in 2025, tripling its space and
adding new engine test rooms and an advanced CNC department.

Breda Racing: Established in 1988, Breda Racing has been the Group’s manufacturing hub since 2018,
specializing in two main areas: racing car components and technical equipment.
From the smallest part to halo structures for formula cars and full chassis for supercars, Breda Racing
ensures the highest standards of craftsmanship in motorsport while also providing top-level equipment
for car management — both on track and in the headquarters of the world’s leading teams.

YCOM: Since 2008, YCOM has been a trusted partner to major players thanks to its engineering
capabilities, vehicle development expertise, and composite materials know-how. From its headquarters
in Collecchio, YCOM delivers complete solutions for motorsport and mobility, with a particular focus on
GT and Endurance racing — including a proud tradition at Le Mans, a symbolic location for the
company. From design to production and testing, YCOM manages end-to-end programs with efficiency,
speed, and precision.

Next Solution Technologies: Founded in 2001, Next Solution specializes in electronics and
electromechanics for motorsport. From the headlights that illuminate Le Mans’ straights to the steering
wheels of Tatuus single-seaters, and a wide range of electrical and electronic components, the company
develops the beating heart of competition vehicles. Its expertise, born on the track, continues today with
performance engineering support directly to teams competing at the highest levels.

BirelArt: Since 1959, Birel has been synonymous with Italian excellence in the production and
development of racing and rental karts. The brand embodies the perfect fusion of tradition and
innovation in karting — the true cradle of motorsport — supported by technical know-how and
manufacturing excellence that have contributed to the careers of many Formula 1 drivers. Located in
Lissone, the 6,000-square-meter headquarters includes four main departments. Quality and innovation
are ensured by the synergy between advanced machinery, the racing department, and the technical
office, which work together to create tailored solutions.

Kart Republic: A benchmark of innovation and success, KR is today one of the most accomplished and
recognized names in international karting. A true talent incubator, Kart Republic has become a creative
lab that — through passion and expertise — has built the karts that launched the careers of many of
today’s top racing stars.

IAME: With 60 world titles, numerous international victories, and a long history of young talents who
became world champions powered by its engines, IAME stands among the global leaders in karting.
Tradition and innovation combine in the development of high-performance engines for karting categories
worldwide. IAME also plays a major role in sporting promotion through its national and international
racing activities, further strengthening its commitment to nurturing the next generation of drivers.
