Shifters Prep for Worlds

The prelude to the KZ World Championships was run on Saturday at the Champions Of The future shifter kart meeting at Franciacorta.

Australia’s Henry Johnstone, despite a 5-second nosecone penalty, was classified 21st in the KZ final. He’d earlier qualified his EKS/TM 34th (of 36 entries). Pedro Hiltbrand (Birel ART/TM) took the win.

New Zealand’s Jay Urwin DNFd the KZ2 final. He was ranked 30th (of 119) after the heats and was officially classified 32nd. Maksim Orlov (Sodi Kart) took the victory.

Daniel Bray (Parolin) had a solid meeting in KZ2 Masters. Qualifying 12th, he was ranked fifth after the heats and placed fourth in the final, which was won by Angelo Lombardo (Maranello) with Davide Fore (IPK) second.
