Australian Superkarter Nick Schembri managed a podium finish at the Dutch Grand Prix meeting at Assen last weekend.
The Victorian qualified his Anderson/VM machine fourth in a massive 60-kart field from around the world. He then placed third in the opening race.

In front of a huge crowd on Sunday for the next two races, Schembri grabbed 7th and 5th, giving him fourth place overall.
“Sunday racing at Assen was a bit more challenging for both set up and driving” he posted.
British veteran Liam Morley dominated the event with a perfect performance: pole position and three victories. Peter Elkmann was second, Lee Harpham third (all on Anderson/VM).

“Incredible job by Nick when you consider the three guys in 1st to 3rd have pretty must dominated superkarting in the UK and Europe for the last ten years!” the team’s Scott williams posted.
