William Calleja is the top qualified of the four Australians at the fourth round of the Champions Of the Future Euro Series at the Rødby circuit in Denmark.
Calleja (Forza Racing, Exprit/TM) clocked the fifth fastest time in the massive 91-strong OK Junior field. Queensland’s Sebastian Eskandari-Marandi (Ward Racing, Tony Kart/Vortex) is 41st.
In the OK category, Lewis Francis (KR Motorsport, KR/IAME) qualified 14th and James Anagnostiadis (Prema Racing Srl, KR/IAME) is 71st in an 84-kart field.
