The much anticipated Cadet Titles at Ipswich Kart Club is only a few days away and some strong representation from interstate will travel to Ipswich to take on the local stars in Cadet 9 and Cadet 12 on Saturday the 5th of April.
Entries close tonight (Wednesday) on KOMP for what is the 3nd Round of the 2025 Ipswich Kart Club Championship.
The popular Cadet P class is back on the programme at IKC this Round, with the Cadet P Platers having their own races and with the usual early season influx of new Cadet drivers at IKC a big field is expected, with 11 confirmed entries already.
Cadet 9 has been great to watch so far at IKC this year and the likes of Luke Robinson, Harry Lack, Oscar Kozak, Felix Sims, RJ Bellbowen and Ryder Xiong are expected to be at the front, with a tight pack behind consisting of Hugo Jones, Scarlett Mitrovic, Jace Herraman, Alfie Doyle and Emerson Mills.
With 36 entries so far, Cadet 12 will once again provide sensational racing and the likely frontrunners will come from Aston Mills, Riccardo Johnston, Casper Anderson, Martin Hsieh, Jude Ammoun, Oliver Flack, Blake Haigh, Knox Black, Jeremy Broadbent, Harlen Bell, Lenox Carson and Lukas Loeskow.
Interstate competitors are again reminded of the rules regarding AKC Registration and the selection of a Host Club in their state, which may prevent some competitors from interstate being able to participate in Social Karting Activity at IKC on the Friday 4th April. The Social Karting Activity on Friday the 4th of April is not part of the race meeting.
The 3rd Round of the IKC Championship will also see the return of the IKC Clubday Challenge Program which offers opportunities for IKC members throughout the field in Cadet 9, Cadet 12, KA3 Junior Heavy, KA3 Junior Light, TAG Restricted Light, TAG Restricted Medium and TAG Restricted Masters, to contest for the Group wins.
Ipswich Kart Club once again will have the live to YouTube feed for the Cadet Titles – visit the club’s YouTube channel HERE.
