Is Tyler Greenbury making a pitch for Australia’s DD2 Masters seat at the Rotax Grand Finals? If that’s the case, he started the campaign in fine style with a win at the Rotax Life event at Coffs Harbour last weekend.

Qualifying fastest of the Masters drivers (and second overall in the DD2/DD2 Masters combined field), the Queenslander carded three wins and a third in the heats before winning the final (and classified third overall)

This was the first of the “new look” Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Final qualifying events for Australia. It was held in conjunction with the Coffs Harbour Kart Racing Club’s opening round of the 2025 season, which attracted strong fields in a number of the support classes.

There are two more Rotax Life events (Ipswich/Race of Champions on May 9-11 and Dubbo/Dubbo Gold Cup on August 22-24) for drivers to qualify for the Rotax National Cup, scheduled for September (track and date TBC).

There is one ‘Team Australia’ Grand Finals ticket available for each class: Junior MAX, Rotax Light, Rotax Heavy, DD2 and DD2 Masters.
