William Calleja has opened his international season of karting with a podium in the first WSK Super Master round at La Conca, Italy.
After switching teams from Ricky Flynn Motorsport to Forza Racing over the break, Calleja placed third in the OK-Junior final. Starting P7, a great start saw the Exprit/TM driver move forward, picking off rivals and momentarily taking the lead. However, a charging Noah Baglin (Prema Racing) got by when Calleja made the move, the Aussie dropping back to third.

Jay Kostecki (Energy Corse) also had a strong run, classified 10th in the Mini final after two rivals received penalties. Kostecki’s highlight was second place in his pre-final. After avoiding a huge startline crash, Jay battled for the win, setting quicker laps than the victor.
