Australia’s Mercedes junior driver James Anagnostiadis has collected race wins and a bunch of points to extend his lead in the Champions Of The Future Academy Program karting series.
Anagnostiadis qualified fastest in OK-N Junior on both days at Al Ain Raceway, United Arab Emirates, and went on to win both finals. In fact, he only lost one race, the opening heat when he placed second.
The Pocket Rocket Brothers both had mixed results in the Mini class. Koda Singh placed seventh on the opening day, then went even faster and poled qualifying on Day 2. Unfortunately he got caught up in an accident in the heats, the resulting DNF ruining his points tally.
Meanwhile, Oscar Singh placed inside the top ten on day one (9th). He then had to start Day 2’s heats from last place after not registering a qualifying time. Despite the setback, he put in a strong recover to 11th in the final.
Charlotte Page contested OK-N Senior, leaving her best results to the finals, finishing inside the top ten on both days.
The last round of the series is at the Al Forsan International Sports Resort complex in the UAE during the Formula 1 race week, December 2-4.
