Australian international karter William Calleja has announced a switch to the crack Ricky Flynn Motorsport operation, competing with the team for the first time in Italy on the weekend.
Calleja raced on Parolin chassis with the Baby Race team in his Mini career and moved to Parolin’s factory team on his promotion to the Junior ranks.
He made his debut with RFM, which uses OTK’s LN Kart, at the WSK Euro Series round on the weekend, placing 19th in the OK-Junior class.
Lando Norris is probably the biggest name to have raced with the RFM, which is considered one of the best non-factory teams in the sport. It’s also the team Oscar Piastri and Jack Doohan ran with for their European karting exploits.
