Two Australians contested the New Zealand Superkart Nationals last weekend, and one of them placed third in the New Zealand Superkart Grand Prix.
Lucas Quattrocchi and Colin McIntyre contested the event at Manfeild thanks to winning driver in Rotax Light and Rotax Heavy respectively via a Trans Tasman competition.

McIntyre finished fifth overall in Rotax Heavy before taking third place in the special 12-lap GP race on Sunday.
Quattrocchi placed sixth overall after a couple of bouts of contact during the meeting before taking fifth in the GP.
“A massive congratulations to both Colin and Lucas for their incredible efforts” the Victorian Superkart Club posted.
“Special thanks to Tony Bowden and Superkarts Drivers Club NZ for organising the event, Scott Williams for wrapping the karts, Teddy Bassick and Tony for providing exceptional karts and your tremendous efforts getting the boys up to speed.”
