Entries are now open for the 2024 Queensland Kart Championships to be hosted by the Ipswich Kart Club on Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June.
Within 24 hours of entries being open, entry numbers are already exceeding over 330, with Cadet 12 and KA3 Junior Light being open to Over Subscribe and TAG Light already at capacity of 40, but also likely to be opened up to Over Subscribe.
The classes on offer for the 2024 Blue Plates are, Cadet 9, Cadet 12, KA3 Junior Heavy, KA3 Junior Light, KA2 Junior, TAG Restricted Light, TAG Restricted Medium, TAG Restricted Masters, KA3 Senior (Championship weight) TAG Heavy, TAG Light and DD2 at 180kg.
Practice at Ipswich Kart Club will be allowed up until Saturday the 22nd of June, with a club working bee on Sunday the 23rd of June. No access to the facility will be available on Monday the 24th of June or Tuesday the 25th of June.
Bump in to the facility will start on Wednesday morning the 26th of June, with large local teams invited to set up during the morning, followed by large interstate teams invited to set up during the afternoon. All other entrants can setup from 8.30am on Thursday the 27th of June.

Practice and Qualifying will take place on the Friday, all Heats to be completed on the Saturday and all Finals contested on the Sunday, with Presentation expected to be completed by 2.00pm on Sunday.

A major sponsor announcement and further details of random draw prizes and evening entertainment, etc, will be made in the next week or so.
