Rotax has announced the chassis partners for the 2023 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals.
Satisfaction between Rotax and the three manufacturers BirelART, IPKarting and Sodikart used previously must be high as these long-term partners will continue.
However, there will be an addition brand on the grid – Charles Leclerc Kart. The CL Kart (a BirelART brand) was to have been used at the 2020 Grand Finals, however covid saw the event cancelled.
“The reliability and professionalism of our official chassis partners, who provide the highest quality products and support for our global customers, is an essential part of our decision to work together” said Rotax’s Peter Ölsinger.
“Beyond that, they are bringing their individual teams of experts and staff to the event to share the technical know-how with all the competitors using their equipment throughout the whole week.
“The RMCGF is all about giving the best of the best in every nation and RMC championship the opportunity to shine. We know how vital providing the expected parity, reliability and equality is for the driver to make the difference.”
The chassis for each category this year are:
- Birel Art: Mini MAX, DD2
- IPKarting: Micro MAX, Junior MAX
- CL Kart: DD2 Masters
- Sodikart: Senior MAX, E20 Senior and E20 Senior Masters
Karting Australia advise details on Australians qualifying for the event will be announced shortly.
The 2023 Rotax ‘Worlds’ takes place at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain, from December 2 to December 9.
