King & Queen Titles to Conclude Noisy Tour

by Russell Innes – Ipswich Kart Club.

Ipswich Kart Club will finish off their racing season this Saturday the 29th of October with the King or Queen Titles and the Final Round of the Project X Noisy Tour.

Despite not being a Club Championship Round, the event has still attracted 160 entries and drivers will get their first opportunity to use the Track A configuration at IKC, which is quite a high speed configuration and a little shorter in length than the normal configurations used at Ipswich.

Carby sessions on Saturday morning will commence at 8.00am and each class will get 2 x 12 Lap Heats and a 14 Lap Final, with racing expected to be finished by 5.00pm.

With a handful of Cadet 9’s moving up to Cadet 12, a few Cadet 12’s moving up to Juniors, a few Juniors moving up to Seniors and a few Seniors who have been running TAG Restricted now choosing to run TAG Open, there will be some very interesting racing with new faces in many classes.

The kart shops and other industry suppliers of South East Queensland have provided over $5000 in random awards, vouchers, etc, for this race meeting and Ipswich Kart Club will also be providing cash awards for fastest lap in each class on the day.
