AKC Opener Reschedule Confirmed

Following the relaxation of border restrictions by the Queensland Government on Thursday, Karting Australia has confirmed the rescheduled date for Round One of the 2021 SP Tools Australian Kart Championship presented by Castrol EDGE.

The event will be hosted by the Ipswich Kart Club in Queensland on February 19/20.  As was the case for the originally scheduled date, the event will be contested as day/night meeting on Friday and Saturday.

All Drivers who previously entered for the opening round, and who have requested to remain entered following the postponement earlier this month, will have their details automatically transferred to the rescheduled event.

With six of the eight classes previously being at capacity prior to the postponement, additional entries will be limited and on a strictly ‘first come, first served’ basis once entries open through the Karting Australia CM:S at 9am (Queensland time) on Monday February 1.
