LE VANTO TYRES FOR ROK – The new LeVanto brand of kart tyre will be used in all the ROK classes in 2021, from Mini ROK to Shifter ROK. The International ROK Cup and ROK Cup USA have both confirmed the switch from Bridgestone to LeVanto, a brand that is made by the Italian manufacturer LeCont.
“LeVanto KRT tyres are an exclusive product for our single-brand championship” ROK by Vortex announced. They will be available in the following sizes:
- 10×4.00-5/11×5.00-5 for Mini Rok
- 10×4.50-5/11×7.10-5 for all the other Rok classes.
“There is always some uncertainty when making a big change like this, but I think everyone can agree we were ready for something new” said Garett Potter of ROK Cup Promotions. For their wet tyre, ROK Cup USA will stick with Bridgestone.
2021 WSK CALENDAR – WSK Promotions has unveiled a provisional calendar of 11 race meetings for 2021. After the Winter Tests at Adria on January 23-24, the racing will kick off at the same venue the following week with the one-event WSK Champions Cup. The proposed dates and venues are:
