from Kev ‘The Noise’ Davies
The race day at Dalby last weekend was the first round of the Summer Series and even with 10-15 drivers missing due being unable to cross borders, there were still 52 entries with lots of new faces!
The new transponder timing system was introduced at this meeting also.
The racing was fabulous all day and this time even more competitive. Some were using it as practice for the Noisy Tour which follows this weekend and some were determined to improve their club championship positions as well as get a good start in the Summer Series.
A full covid plan was in place with security on the gate ensuring no unregistered participants could enter.
Now we move on to round two where the action will be just as intense.
