Competitors nearly froze at the annual C & D Grade Titles that concluded at Morwell today.
But at least the meeting went ahead, despite the lousy conditions.
In fact, the week prior it was looking quite possible the event wouldn’t go ahead, entry numbers not quite reaching the club’s mid-week target to proceed.
However, thankfully for those who raced, the Gippsland Club decided to commit to the cause, thus keeping this annual title meeting running unbroken for another year.
