KA4 Junior
This hotly contested class was once again dominated by Blake “The Rocket” locket! Second & third was weekend long battle between Harrison Lyne and the returning from injury Kyle Evans, Kyle eventually getting the better of Harrison in the final.
Cadet 9 provisional
Ewen Oliver drove a near perfect final and after a win on day one Elley Smith was showing just as much pace in the final but a coming together with the unfortunate Oceane Colangelo saw Elley fall back to third and Cooper Wilks move up to second! That’s how they finished in the final.
Cadet 9
This class was just as competitive and eventual winner Jake Santin drove an almost faultless weekend. Jackson Cooper eventually improved to second place after an accident on Friday that required kart repairs. Third place was won by the hard charging James Cittolin.
KA4 C&D Grade
Sam Seccombe was untouchable all weekend long and had the kart dialled in perfectly. Another weekend long battle for second place was eventually won by Ryan Laycock, just pipping former bull rider Brody Nunn who finished 3rd.
KA3 Junior
Another hugely dominant performance by Tommy “TheHit Man” Cooper to make it a clean sweep in all heats and final, only being led by another driver in one lap all weekend! The remaining two podium spots were contested by Aaron Williams, Kyle Evans & Thomas Gallagher. Second was eventually bagged by Gallagher and third place went to Evans.
Cadet 12 provisional
Ryan Macmillan took the win after the dramas of Saturday’s heats seemed to clear up, throttle problems came and went as quick as they developed. Second place was taken by Cody Nankervis with a brilliant drive, and after an unfortunate incident that saw pre-race favourite Rhyan Mueller “Rhino” relegated to the rear of the field, he drove the wheels of the #53 kart to eventually get third.
Cadet 12
The hotly contested Cadet 12s saw day one’s result reversed, Braith Santin it was who took the win leaving his best performance until the final where he made it count with a fantastic drive. Second was the super quick all weekend long Jakob Scott, and third went to Zane Wilhelm who was unstoppable in Saturday’s heats but just couldn’t stay with the front two on Sunday. There was some excellent driving from all 21 Cadet 12 drivers!
